Not all product manuals are created equal

Most everyone has heard of bad translations between different languages.  Sometimes at FireFold we run into this problem due to the fact that we import some of our products from overseas.  While most of the time it isn’t a big deal we do encounter things that top the cake.  We had been carrying the 5 Port Ethernet Switch for a good amount of time until a customer came to us and recommended that we read the manual.  As most people never read the manual for something unless it requires putting together a NASA space rocket, we thought we might be safe.

Some lucky translator overseas is going to find himself a superstar because this is just too good to be true.  We’ve highlighted the best areas.

This is the first page and exactly what appears on the manual:

Apparently the package includes glue and a suggestive rubber mat.

This is the second page, which has even more:

Unfortunately, our products don’t have the ability to send “ether lords” after your enemies.

We maintain the right to change all of our manuals. We swear it is an accurate description… in another language.

Would I be able to get a copy of this manual anywhere?

Sorry Jennifer, that’s quite an old post and it’s not a product we even carry anymore. I would imagine the manufacturer has corrected it by now anyway.
